• Transaction data: Payment method details (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card numbers), purchase history, billing address
• Communications: Messages sent via our support form, emails, and in-app messaging
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, clicks, search queries, event views
• Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the NightlifeMap Service
• Process transactions and send receipts, tickets, and order confirmations
• Send account-related emails (signup confirmations, password resets, security alerts)
• Send marketing communications (with your consent; opt-out available at any time)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
• Personalize your experience and surface relevant venues and events

3. Email Communications

NightlifeMap sends the following types of emails via SendGrid, our authorized email service provider:

• Transactional: Account confirmations, password resets, ticket delivery, payment receipts (cannot be opted out)
• Operational: Event reminders, venue updates, system alerts
• Marketing: Promotions, new venue announcements, newsletters (opt-out available in account settings)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Service providers: Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), cloud infrastructure providers — bound by confidentiality agreements
• Venues and promoters: Limited data (name, ticket info) necessary to honor your purchases
• Law enforcement: When required by law, court order, or to protect safety

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are kept for 7 years for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@nightlifemap.app. Note that certain data may be retained as required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), restrict or object to processing, data portability, and withdraw consent. Submit requests to privacy@nightlifemap.app. We respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings or our cookie consent tool.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and regular security audits. Payment data is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers. Despite these measures, no system is perfectly secure.

9. Children's Privacy

NightlifeMap is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

1. General Policy

All ticket and merchandise purchases on NightlifeMap are generally final. However, we provide refunds in specific circumstances outlined below. We process all eligible refunds to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

2. Automatic Refunds

You are automatically eligible for a full refund when:

• An event is cancelled by the venue or organizer
• An event is postponed and you cannot attend the rescheduled date
• A venue closes permanently before your booked event
• A significant change occurs (headliner cancellation, venue change to a different city)

In these cases, refunds are initiated automatically within 3 business days of the announcement, and you will receive an email confirmation.

3. Eligible Refund Requests

You may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase if:

• You purchased duplicate tickets by mistake
• You were charged the incorrect amount
• A technical error occurred during the purchase process

4. Merchandise Refunds

Merchandise purchased through artist stores may be returned within 14 days of delivery if the item is unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrectly shipped.

5. Non-Refundable Items

• Tickets for events that have already taken place
• Service fees and processing fees (refunded only when full refund applies)
• VIP table reservations (subject to separate venue cancellation policies)
• Pre-order tickets where the event is confirmed (unless event is cancelled)

6. How to Request a Refund

Submit refund requests through our Support form (select "Refund request") or email tickets@nightlifemap.app with your order ID, purchase email, and reason. We respond within 24 hours. Stripe payment disputes (chargebacks) may result in account suspension pending investigation.

7. Stripe Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. When a refund is initiated, Stripe returns funds to your original payment method. Bank processing times of 3–10 additional business days may apply depending on your financial institution. Stripe's own refund terms also apply.
